Paige Rawl has a moving and powerful story: Born HIV+, she was a normal girl until she disclosed her status to one of her best friends in middle school. Within the next hour, everyone at her school knew and set off a long string of bullying.
Paige Rawl's book, "Positive: A Memoir" documents the bullying she experienced in middle school when her peers found out she was HIV-positive. Rawl visited Hood for the First-Year Read program to discuss her book and her activism in anti-bullying and HIV/AIDS awareness.
